Testimonials

Cycle Ride - London to Paris - Raising money for
Diabetes UK

... I made it!! My expectations were exceeded in every way.

I am so so grateful for prayers answered! I thank the Lord for:-

1) Good Weather

2) Organisers and Leaders .. Jonathan and his Cycle Wild team (Paul, Marilyn, Tonia,)

3) Diabetes UK (and Hannah) and the opportunity they provided me and sponsors,

4) Safety and Health for all of us (and the Lord was helped by, for example, Dr Kenny) and not getting too lost.

5) For the friendship and shared stories of people's lives.

6) For those who sponsored me .. this was truly an answer to prayer!!! Thank you so so much.

I was humbled, especially by those who are not normally cyclists. Those who had to find time to train between family and work or whose health is not yet up to scratch .. I saw how with determination and courage they pushed through the pain .. how they seem to 'cycle themselves fit' and made it up the hills. I have a new respect for the human spirit. Human Courage. Perseverance.

Thank you all so so much!!! In summary then:- 'Thank you Lord, thank you Diabetes UK (Hannah), Cycle Wild, fellow adventurers! It was glorious, fun, inspiring. What more can I ask?

With love!

Yorke
