Description This is not a bike ride for the faint–hearted. It is suited to experienced road cyclists who would have managed Rides like the London to Brighton - 54mls with reasonable ease.

A challenging 270 miles, and 16,000 feet of elevation gain, of glorious mountain, loch and coastal scenery over 4 days cycling with your own bike, recommended to be a road, not mountain or hybrid bike.

Wester Ross and Skye are two of Britain's special places. They rank alongside the most beautiful locations, not just in British Isles, but in the whole of the world.

Much of the area is regarded as the last wilderness in Britain. For much of the year the S.W. air stream provides a mild, moist climate with temperatures 10-15 degrees C., with weather patterns constantly changing from gloom to brilliant light in stunning permutations of colour and contrasts upon the landscape. However, the Spring and Autumn are the driest times which makes  May or June a particularly good time for cycling, especially as there is a good chance of seeing the remaining winter snows on the mountains.

We will ride along spectacular undulating roads, mainly single track and unfenced through a land of glens, lochs and lochens, seascapes and coastal views of the Inner Hebrides including Skye and endless mountain scenes.
