Finca de las Salinas

This splendid rural hotel has it's origins in the mid-18th century It was originally the home of D. Jaime Lleo, a pharmacist, who built himself an important and successful business in farming and export of salt. The house therefore takes its name from the salinas (salt pans) that were the source of Don Jaime's wealth. Today the salinas are still there producing salt from the Atlantic Ocean, while the house was carefully refurbished as a small rural hotel in 1996.

Hotel Timanfaya Palace

Tucked between dramatic mountains and the Atlantic Ocean, this place serves up a tropical pool scene and views that are second-to-none. The Hotel Timanfaya Palace is striking to say the least. From the outside, it’s made up of tall white turrets and huge glass panels. Step inside, and glossy palms and lots of greenery give things a tropical vibe.

The swimming pools are bordered by loungers, palms and parasols. A thatched bar means refreshments are taken care of, while the pool’s raised position offers up sweeping sea views.
