Challenging Riding

The CycleWild Croatia bicycle trip is rated Challenging. This epic week of cycling consists of rolling roads on the island of Hvar passing lavender fields, olive groves and vineyards as well as tackling some challenging yet beautiful climbs. The terrain on this trip provides you with everything from the spectacular vistas and rolling terrain along the Dalmatian coast to more hilly riding inland on the islands of Hvar and Korcula. In Croatia, the majority of the cycling will be on back roads with occasional light traffic. Daily rides have hills (we avoid steep climbs), and the cycling distances range from 19 to 31 miles per day, with options for longer rides and/or more hills. Everyone can do Croatia, but it is hilly, and of course your Cyclewild support vehicle and guides will be around to assist you at all times.
