Croatia has one of the most stunning coastlines in Europe. Only 2/1/2 hours flying time from Heathrow and you are transported to glorious sunshine and stunning scenery.

The Croatian coastal landscape has a Mediterranean feel, lush with greenery, dotted with picturesque bays, and flanked by hills and mountains.The Dalmatian Coast of Croatia together with its islands is one of the most exciting newly discovered areas of the Mediterranean for on-road cycling. Here is a Ride dominated by the sea, mountains and islands with coach, ferry and speed boat transfers which are an integral part of this adventure.

Cycling will in the main be on long delightful stretches of quiet good quality roads making navigation easy and relaxed. This will be a 6 day ride flanked by a tour of Dubrovnik’s Old City to start and Makarska to finish, one of the most stunning locations on the Adriatic with the backcloth of the 1762m (5800ft) Mount Biokovo.

You will visit three of the most dramatic islands and the idyllic Peljesec Peninsular – each with its own unique personality. Most hotels will be 4* or equivalent –some boutique and all by the coast with great views. Lunches will be at atmospheric restaurants and when in remote areas you will savour gourmet picnic lunches.
